How should I take Eldepryl?

To reduce occurring of side effects avoid: antidepressants, medicines for high blood pressure, other MAO inhibitors, appetite suppressants, drugs for attention deficit disorder, cold medications, nasal decongestants, fentanyl, street drugs, stimulants, drugs that can increase serotonin and others.
What should I watch for while taking Eldepryl?
In combination with sympathomimetic amines dose of selegiline should not exceed 10 mg / day. It is necessary to be cautious patients with diabetes, as MAO inhibitors may increase hypoglycemia.
Follow diet and avoid foods from the list below because they are high in tyramine: aged cheeses and meat, poultry, fish, salami, sausages, soybean products, sauerkraut, products with yeast, beer, red wine, vermouth and others.
Try to avoid physical activity that needs attention and speed of reactions.
What side effects may I notice from Generic Eldepryl?
Not every side effect needs medical attention unless if they continue during few days. There are side effects because of taking Eldepryl drugs, combining it with forbidden food and because of overdose. Most common of them are:
- Digestive system (loss of appetite, nausea, constipation or diarrhea, dry mouth, dysphagia);
- Nervous system (fatigue, dizziness, headache, anxiety, motor and mental excitement, insomnia, hallucinations; rare - confusion, psychoses);
- The cardiovascular system (sometimes - orthostatic hypotension, rarely - increased blood pressure, arrhythmia);
- The senses (blurred vision, diplopia);
