Danocrine is a drug that actively suppresses the production of gonadotropins.

Strengthening action of indandiona derivatives and coumarin anticoagulants (increased chance of bleeding);
Weakening of efficacy of oral hypoglycemic agents and insulin (by acting on carbohydrate metabolism by increasing the glucose concentration in the blood);
An increase in plasma concentrations of glucagon, tacrolimus and cyclosporine increases the risk of nephrotoxicity;
Inhibition of metabolism of antiepileptic drugs and an increase in the blood concentration (phenobarbital, phenytoin and carbamazepine);
Also is possible hypercalcemia in combination with alfacalcidol in primary hypoparathyroidism.
What should I watch for while taking Danocrine?
The properties of Danocrine increase testosterone levels in blood and affect the result of sex hormones test.
Patients with diabetes need correction of doses of insulin during the treatment. It is not recommended for elderly people.
Before the therapy women of childbearing age need to verify the absence of pregnancy, treatment should begin immediately on the first day of menstruation and patients can use during taking drugs a non-hormonal contraception.
It is allowed the use Danocrine for the treatment of children with early puberty.
