What is Generic Parlodel?

Generic Parlodel has an active ingredient Bromocriptine. It is used for patients who are being treated from Alzheimer's And Parkinson's diseases and menstrual problems. It is also confirmed that the drug acts as an antidepressant not only in patients with Parkinson's disease but also in those who had never had it. The effect of the drug lasts for years (currently investigated treatment for 8 years). It stimulates dopamine receptors.

• Inhibition of lactation, benign breast disease.

• Monotherapy of Parkinson’s disease or combination with other antiparkinsonian agents.

 What should I tell my health care provider before I take Generic Parlodel?

Tell your health care provider a detailed history of your illnesses and allergies. Before prescribing you this drug your doctor will want to know whether or not you suffer from: hypersensitivity to Bromocriptine or other ergot alkaloids, toxemia of pregnancy, high blood pressure, postpartum hypertension, heart disease, availability and / or a history of severe mental disorders, malignant mammary tumors or if you are expecting a child, how many weeks are you at or if you are breastfeeding a baby.

The drug cannot be used by children and adolescents up to 16 years.

How should I take Parlodel?

Take pills internally during the meal to avoid bowel problems. Swallow a whole (not chewed, not broken) tablet. According to your diagnosis your doctor will choose individual suitable dose for you but if you bought Parlodel online then in the package you will find instructions which explain you how to take medicines for all cases. For patients with Parkinson's disease Bromocriptine is usually prescribed at higher doses.

Dosage information

Parlodel is presented in tablet form. Each contains 2.5 mg.

What may interact with Parlodel?

Where can I keep Parlodel?

Store the drug at the dry place out from direct sunlight, not in the bathroom. Storage temperature is 15 °С to 30°С. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package. Keep away from children.
