At first glance, they are very similar, but these diseases differ significantly. The difference between arthritis and arthrosis can be seen already from the names of diseases. For those who still confuse them we will describe their main differences. The second one causes problems of the joints while the first is also a pathological process in the joint. The main manifestations of first one: severe pain in the joint during movement, joint deformation, decreased mobility. In case of neglect, joint stiffness arises. The other one is accompanied by not only pain in movement, but also in rest, swelling, morning stiffness, skin over the joints can be hot to the touch. Movements are painful, but they do not stop, with swelling of soft tissues. In first illness the main destructive activity is performed not by inflammatory, but by degenerative processes in articular cartilage.

In simpler words, if the joint is very sore and swollen, the movements in the joint are painful and there is a crunch in the movements, the skin is hot to the touch a high probability of arthritis. 4. Deformation.
